LinkDM vs InstantDM 2026: price, limits and features
LinkDM sells a monthly pool of DMs, with top-up credits that never expire, and puts 3 accounts on Pro. InstantDM caps how many automations run an hour, and its single-account plans hold one account each.
The short answer
LinkDM bills by DMs sent: Pro is $19 a month for 3 Instagram accounts and 25,000 DMs. InstantDM bills a flat price per account and caps the pace: Legend Pro is $12 a month for 1 account, up to 800 automations an hour. InstantDM schedules Instagram posts and has an MCP server from Trendsetter; we found neither on LinkDM. Postkey is the third option: several accounts on one plan, a scheduler for 21 networks and an agent that builds the automations.

How each one bills
LinkDM counts DMs sent. In its words, "If you reach your monthly sending limit, DMs will stop sending until the start of the next month", unless you bought DM credits: from 1,000 for $5 to 1,000,000 for $350, which "do not expire" and are shared across your accounts.
InstantDM's single-account plans cap the pace, not the month: up to 800 automations an hour on Legend Pro and 2,000 on Trendsetter; Trendsetter Pro lists no hourly limit. Its Free plan allows 500 a month, and Multi Starter and Multi Pro give each account 30,000 and 300,000 a month.
So a post that reaches thousands of new people uses up LinkDM's monthly pool, while on InstantDM it queues behind the hourly pace.

What each says about the other, checked
LinkDM's InstantDM page marks InstantDM as missing Facebook DM automation, comment auto-replies and next-post triggers. InstantDM's own pricing page lists all three on Legend Pro.
InstantDM's LinkDM page says its safety pacing is on every plan, the free one included. Its own pricing page lists DM queues and overload handling from Trendsetter, and the slowdown mode on Trendsetter Pro. The same page puts the AI agent on Legend Pro; the pricing page lists the AI agent step from Trendsetter, run on your own AI key.
Both pages are each company's claims about a rival. We checked them only against the rival's own pricing page.

- You want ChatGPT, Claude or Grok to build and switch on your automations. We found no MCP server for LinkDM, and none of InstantDM's tools that builds automations.
- You post beyond Instagram: Postkey schedules to 21 networks and switches each post's DM keyword on with it.
- You want DM automation on Instagram, Messenger and X from one plan.
- You want flows, a DM inbox and AI replies in the same plan as your scheduler.
